Re: Amazon Prime app not working on sky stream!

Hi Sally98765

im sorry I have no idea how it's ever going to get fixed, I sick of ringing sky & getting fobbed off, its ridiculous & really frustrating!
It's only 1 of the pucks that is affected but sky keeps telling me its not the puck but they still can't give an answer!😡 I work & haven't got the time to sit on the phone to them & when I have got through it's all about resets that don't work!

I wish you look, sorry I can't offer any answers

No fix. Sky says it's Amazon's problem. I am at the beginning of a complaint with Sky because it is clearly not an Amazon Prime app problem.

Hi Everyone

Thank you so much for your patience whilst our engineers worked to resolve this problem; we are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience.

We recently pushed an update to everyone's puck, and I'm looking to understand how your experience has been.

I'm going to mark this post as the current answer so that everyone has the most up-to-date information.

Thanks

Marvellous! I can now stream content that I was previously unable to watch.

But can I ask why my own and other customers' discussions with Sky itself resulted in denial by Sky that there was any problem with the pucks and that Amazon need to sort it out?

I can only speculate that the people on the phones don't have the best and latest information, and have a visceral fear of saying "I don't know" to the point that they'll fob you off and make stuff up instead.

For technical issues where Sky is investigating and a member of Sky staff has said so here on the forum (tagged with "Sky employee"), then here on the forum is going to be the best place for updates on the same issue - the call centre staff invariable do not have the information available to them. This is based on past experience.
