Re: Skysports F1 Japanese gp qualifying not on catch-up

I spoke too soon, Qualifying finished over half an hour ago and is still not available in my playlist,  come in and out if it several times and restarted the Puck, pressing Home makes no difference, this really isn't good enough for what we pay!

It's frustrating, I know.

I just checked my playlist and qualifying is there for me. I can't watch it though (error message)😂

I know it's annoying when people offer troubleshooting fixes when you've likely done them all, but maybe an unplug would work? Or app refresh.

Still, so annoying!

Nope, unplugged and tried again and still no Japan Qualy and how 1 hour 20mins since the programme ended,

If I didn't jump into the live broadcast near the end I wouldn't of been able to watch it before going out by which time I would of had spoilers, not acceptable Sky, before I moved home I had Sky Q and it would of just recorded and I could watch whenever I like, Stream is really not fit for purpose along with all the other stupid faults it brings up on other apps.

I always mute the sound before starting any catch up session just in case

Mine also showed Qualy, when I wanted to watch it at about 9am, but actually played FP3 when selected, which I'd actually watched at about 5.15am then back to sleep.

I don't really understand the problem. If it is automated, then it isn't working. If it is Ai powered, it isn't working. If it is a human that checks footage and 'releases' it, it is not working.

I ended up putting the Qualy on on the repeat, missing the hour preamble chat as the repeat was 2hrs not 3.

I am now watching the one hour preamble after the amble as it is now available.

What a crock.

Something that really should be investigated by the monopoly commission as we have NO other options.

F1 Qualifying

Qualifying for the Japanese F1 still not available in the playlist hours after it was broadcast. Anyone else been able to access it? So annoying for all the money we pay.

Thats odd - i literally watched qualifying at 9am this morning via my playlist.

Although i had exit the playlist and go back into it for the qualifying session to actually display, so it would appear the issue they have been having since the Australian GP, where the playlist isn't necessarily fully loading and pulling in the new content everytime you click on the Live F1 tile in it, is still an issue.

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

I've tried to watch from 3 this afternoon. Shows upto FP3 and that's it. Have unplugged numerous times to see if it'll refresh but nothing.

Yep I've got the option of qualifying but when I select it, it's showing me FP2. Not working in my playlist either.

I fail to see how they still can't get this right.

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

We have just tried to watch the actual race and it's giving us half the commentary at the start and we are able to watch the race start and then it's only showing 30 minutes worth of footage before cutting off!!!

we have reset everything tried to watch from start even on f1 sports channel and it's not working.

this is absolutely ridiculous and been happening since Thursday when wanting to catch up on anyone f1 event.

Aaaaand its still there for Miami. This nonsense just happened whilst looking for practice:

1. Go to playlist - only has HD.

2. Go to on demand section - practice is missing

3. Remove from playlist and re-add to playlist from the on demand section that doesn't have practice at all - uhd in the playlist.

It's ridiculous and we pay a lot of money for this.

The people who keep telling me I should gleefully or prematurely give up my SkyQ with local disc recordings that I am in full control of, should read this thread.

As I've mentioned before in this thread for the other races, I'm not sure why for some this does not work out correctly.

Practice 1 and Sprint qualy we're both available for me as have been all sessions this season, straight after the actual session live broadcast as cloud recordings in UHD.

Otherwise you are waiting for the On demand version to appear, (you will know as it's stripped of the live broadcast adverts),  that can take a short while to appear on any Sky TV platform, even on Sky Go.

I did watch both live also in UHD and had no issues.

Just to make sure and I expect you have read the thread, do make sure you are adding the actual live broadcast to your playlist from either the epg on Sky Sports F1 uhd (not a repeat broadcast) or via the Home>Sports>F1 on this week rail and making sure you are selecting the F1 live UHD version.

You can do this from any of the session through the weekend, practice, sprint, qualy or ghe three race live progs, so you get the complete weekend linked set and the series link for each upcoming weekend.

It maybe worth deleting form Manage all in playlist and starting as above again.

Other than that, I do not understand why it's not working for you.

Just one other thought, do you have one puck connected through a UHD TV and another puck connected through a HD only TV.

The playlist may be muddled with that in some way for playlist profiles.

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

I often still have the issue even when using the playlist option (and yes, the live race is what I have playlisted) so it's definitely a Sky issue

Exactly same question from me. This same issue has been mentioned many times going back but without resolution. How about a reply from Sky???
