What that actually mean meant to say was. I think you misread my post. The FP3 was for the Australian race

@Bob2lips I did indeed misread, sorry.

It's wierd how you have sessions missing thought, I honestly don't have a problem 🤔

I'll just have to be a social outcast for the rest of the day till I get chance to watch it.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

Had no problems with any of my session cloud recordings appearing promptly so far this year.

Much like I never had with the last two F1 seasons.

All I can suggest, is remove all your F1 content from your playlist and set the series link from one of the true live sessions (practice, sprint, qualy, or any of the three race programmes) in the weekend.

Make sure you do this from the true live session playout from the epg and not a repeat showing.

plus, make sure you are adding to playlist from the Sky Sports F1 channel 407.

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

Similar happened to me. Set a reminder to watch the Sprint race for 11am. Went to watch it and it was already on lap 3. What's weird though is the time was exactly 11am by my phone clock. So I think Sky had started the rerun before 11am.

I love sky stream for the most part but the way love sport is handled and especially re runs and spoilers everywhere is seriously bad.

Restart from start doenst work either. It's already 2 laps in.

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

Same, didn't want to see any spoilers in Teds notebook so waited till 10:58 to change channel and it was already two laps in. Main event still has Ted on should have finished at 11 know live events overrun but surely the epg is dynamic and they can update it ??

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

Same. The programme started 10 minutes before advertised. The banner at the bottom of the screen thinks it's Ted's Notebook.

And it's still not on catchup.

I'm on Sky Go today so can't pause or Watch From Start.

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

I had no issues with Formula 1 this season or last year

All live broadcasts was recorded and listed in the Live:Formula 1 Playlist

Before the live broadcast has started you need to make sure you add a live broadcast to playlist from Tv Guide as in the EPG and you only need to do this once as it will have a series link for later live broadcasts

In the Tv Guide it will have Live listed before broadcast name

Example the live race broadcast on Sunday that starts at 5.30am will  be listed in tv guide on F1 channel  as Live Grand Prix Sunday:China

Make sure you added to playlist from the Tv Guide the live broadcast not the repeat broadcast that happens later in the day

In regards to playlists don't confuse between Formula 1 and Live:Formula 1 they are not the same thing

Formula 1 playlist is on demand content and repeat broadcasts you added from tv guide to playlist and can be hours or next day when on demand content will show up

Live:Formula 1 is for recordings of live broadcast and will show in your playlist if you added from Tv Guide a live race to be recorded

Notice the difference

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

Many thanks for the instructions, I've now deleted all that i had previously saved in the playlist and only saved the ones that are live.

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

This F1 on stream is STILL an absolute joke. I wanted to throw this cheap, unstable puck at the wall on trying to watch the playlisted China Sprint race. Each set of adverts just had a static Sky technical screen showing the length of the advert section, etc. then as soon as the race itself was about to start it completely skipped the race start. The most important section and Sky Stream completely missed it!

The Sky Stream back end is not fit for purpose, it still feels like it is a beta test but the price keeps shooting up!

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

I got my stream replaced by sky q this week and we'll... it just works, I can fast forward and rewind, skip ads, no spoilers, no waiting. My blood pressure is lower.

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

I did what others suggested on Stream and removed the on demand stuff and only added the live broadcasts to my playlist and everything was actually there when I went to watch.

The race wasn't there for me at 6am, I had to wait for the re-run around 7

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

Thank you very much for the advice!

I tuned in after the race had finished. I drilled down into my spring-cleaned playlist and was presented with a banner screen, George smiling back at me. But there was no text anywhere and a solid blue box with where the race should have been.

I waited.

I waited some more.

I weighed up the risk of clicking on anything else for a moment and then clicked Back. I was just in time to see the podium celebrations and the result was spoiled.

I clicked back in again and the missing info had been populated and everything seems right again. Fingers crossed it'll work much better from now on. I still think it's a massive step backwards from the Satellite receivers with no real benefit for the customer..
