I've been paying for Sky Stream with a full sports subscription for over 2 years. I've noticed my current issue in the SkyGo app but it's now happening in my Sky Stream puck.

I couldn't get up early for the Australian GP this morning, so was planning to watch this afternoon.

I have gone in to the sports listing, and the only available catch up is the highlights, not the full race. As I'm paying the premium amount, why can I not watch the full race later in the day? I thought this sort of thing was the entire selling point of WiFi streaming TV. If this is intentional then I'll probably be downgrading my service as I often need to watch races on catch up, and if I can't do it then what's the point in paying so much?

@AlexRolfe Did you add the Live F1 broadcast to your playlist? If you did then the recording would have been available on your playlist to watch as soon as the live broadcast started. If you don't add to your playlist then yes you have to wait for the full video on-demand, but that typically is only made available 24-48 hours after.

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

Nightmare. Sat down to watch the Australia Grand Prix on Sky Stream Sunday evening UK time after kids had gone to bed. Not only could I find no option to watch the full race replay (only race highlights package), but it prioritised showing me a selection of post content that provided massive spoilers. I get the same thing with the football all the time. Massive regrets over switching to Sky Stream, which was marketed as having all the content available on demand to replay. Unless sky can sort this soon, will be moving back to Virgin Media as soon as my contract expires (dare I say sooner!) which had so much better functionality including being able to (I) record and then replay across multiple devices at time of choosing and (ii) without having the result spoiled.

@TomTruck If you go via the sports page, you will almost certainly see spoilers and only the brief highlights. Did you add the Live F1 race broadcast to your playlist, as that is what you need to do. You should only need to add it once for the season, and then the cloud recordings will usually appear in your playlist ( although as you can see from this thread, sometimes you would have to go in and out of the playlist a few times for all the sessions to appear).

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

I get it, and if it is only £10 more (I'll check at weekend) I want it back.

There's literally no catch up now for last weekend on my playlist.

Yes rebooted, yes been in and out. Money over matter.

It was about £50 all in per month for sky signature, sky kids, sky sports and includes the upcoming, disney, hbo stuff, although it doesnt include netflix but i never watch that anyway. I think i was about £40 all in for Sky ultimate, kids, F1 (not full sports) on the stream.

I'm in exactly the same boat and thinking why am I paying to read results on the news.. I hadn't realised we need to record - I feel like I've never had to do this before but will try recording in future. I think we can record whole series .. Thank you

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

I'm so mad at this rubbish solution. It's 7am and I want to watch the Chinese sprint race but all that's available is sprint quali and actual quali. Same happened last week with the Aussie race, it was available but quali and chequered flag was!

What's the point in this service. It's not fit for purpose. I'm so fed up with Sky given how much it costs. I think it's time to go through the ball ache of cancelling.

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

Well I was surprised to come here to find an entire thread on the issue, as this system is an absolutel shambles.

As a new sky stream user I thought I was having teething problems. Last week the Australian coverage was unavailable or unreliable in my playlists, and I purposely set up the sprint race to record this morning. Now when I got up, it was there but it froze after a few minutes of play and then self deleted itself. It is also no longer in my recorded items and cannot be found with a search.

The whole system is a failure for F1 fans if it remains like this.

Interesting, I've had absolutely no issues all session have been available immediately after and even during the session.

I'm wondering if it could be a location issue?

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

Surprise surprise second weekend  in a row with  issues, no FP3 for Australia and now no Sprint race for China. But I can watch the Chinese qualifying well, I'm sure I won't hear any spoilers for the sprint race. Next sprint race is at 11 am. But I'm not in. Guess I have to see if it's in my playlist later. Sucks when this is the only reason I have sky sports

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

There is no FP3 this weekend!!

FP1, Sprit Quali, Sprint Race, Qualifying and the Race are the only sessions this weekend.

Thank you. I've misread my post. The missing FP3 was for Australia
