Why are mods deleting all of my posts from this thread?

Re: Live Formula 1 Missing Again

Fp1&2 were there for me today but no qualifying, had to goto the channel and use the play from start.

An utterly rubbish experience. Tuned in for the Qualifying at 1730 UK time and it was only showing Q3 and also part of tge way through it. Box only arrived this morning so I guess its going back as I'm in my cooling period and I won't be subscribing. Customer service are extremely rude too

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

I eventually found qualifying after adding f1 qualy to my playlist but it took far too long, it should be the first thing in the list after clicking f1. However when clicking it I got teds notebook, so I tried again and it popped me halfway through a merc lap. No idea what lap or what session though

shambles.

Going to chime in with my experience, I can actually manage to find F1 on demand easily, but only HD. If I want the UHD versions, I either need to spend a long time digging around or wait for a replay

It's ridiculous that it keeps defaulting to Sky Sports HD (and sometimes Main Event HD) when I added to my playlist from the UHD channel, and pay €10 extra for UHD

Wow, so while my playlist now shows (bit late to the party) FP3, it is showing Ted's notebook, and that is still on live.

It has the GP highlights, but no Full race or warm up.

Having anticipated such a cluster.... I shall be watching the replay in 3 mins.

Shambolic.

F1 Race disappears from Playlist

At about 7:05AM we went to the Playlist, selected the F1 race and started watching.

We almost immediately heard there had been a drama before the start of the race, so tried to go back to the previous playlist recording of Grand Prix Sunday.  However, when viewing the playlist again, Grand Prix Sunday and the race itself were missing from the list.  Chequered Flag (which was not there before) had appeared and other programmes like qualiifying were still available - see image below.

Whilst trying to find the recording, we then heard the result of the race 😞

I understood playlist is meant to work like a normal recording, so why is the build up and race no longer available on playlist?

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

Interesting today at around 6am UK time that the race was not available on the playlist, but I could watch it by finding the rerun in the program listing for this afternoon. I was expecting that to just set a reminder, so pleased that I could watch it on demand in the end.

All very random though!

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

I had managed to switch to Virgin Media after my previous experience of the Sky Stream which worked far better, I could record locally like the old Sky Q but add a two hour buffer after the programme ends so it would never cut off if the race timings overran.
Sadly I've just moved house and Virgin isn't available here. I tried signing up in store to a new Sky Q package but they assured me that they don't get any complaints about Sky Stream F1 programmes missing anymore so it was all just teething issues when I first had the product. They then continued to sell me Sky Stream showing what poor value Sky Q is now in comparison to Stream.
I could t believe it this morning when I woke up and once again there is Chequred Flag, Ted's notebook but no sign of the Race Buildup or the Race itself. It's hugely disappointing that we can't get the Apple product here in the UK or anything from Sky which is actually fit for purpose. I'd happily pay for a product that works but finding a product that works in the UK doesn't seem simple.
Maybe with Apple improving the product so well in the US (at a very reasonable price) it might give Sky a benchmark as to what customers are expecting.

I'm looking in to EE tv pro box which allows you to record, apparently it can record sky channels from the epg. Think you need EE broadband though.

Re: 2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

I also have the exact problem, the items on demand (when they did turnup yesterday) were the highlights not the full Qualifying, I could not find P3 at all.

Even when using voice search the full program content is not listed, is it? But just not linked or is it not available other than to wait and watch a broadcast programme.

Some of us F1 fans do want to watch the whole session, even if we have failed to ignore the social media and know the result already. The fight and interaction of the racing is key to enjoyoing F1.

Sky is paying about 400 million a season until 2029 specifically to have exclusive rights.

Sky Q is still available. My installation was in January. Hindsight I know, but I'm disappointed to see you had a "hard sell" of Sky Stream when you clearly wanted SkyQ. That wasn't my experience when I telephoned up to order it.

Cannot catch up with full F1 race

I've been paying for Sky Stream with a full sports subscription for over 2 years. I've noticed my current issue in the SkyGo app but it's now happening in my Sky Stream puck.

I couldn't get up early for the Australian GP this morning, so was planning to watch this afternoon.

I have gone in to the sports listing, and the only available catch up is the highlights, not the full race. As I'm paying the premium amount, why can I not watch the full race later in the day? I thought this sort of thing was the entire selling point of WiFi streaming TV. If this is intentional then I'll probably be downgrading my service as I often need to watch races on catch up, and if I can't do it then what's the point in paying so much?

How is this actually showing as answered? How do we remove that 'status'? It's my thread and it is not answered.

@kar0shi a post "marked as the answer" is essentially a pinned post which is displayed at the start of the thread for anyone coming into it. For threads like this one its purpose is to inform people of the latest status, which in this case is that the problematic playlist issue has been raised with Sky.

Once one of the Sky Community Team is able to provide any update ( which FYI won't happen over a weekend) , they will almost certainly post a new comment on this thread and set that one as "the answer" to easily display the latest update.
