2026 Sky F1 catch up - the problem continues

Well it's too late now mate unfortunately as I've watched the re run but it spoilt the result not being able to find a stream i could play from the beginning,  it's there now some hours later but looked in and out if my playlist and sports tab but all that was there were the Free Practice sessions included FP3 but no qualifying 

I'll see what happens tomorrow morning with the Pre race/ race coverage but not holding my breath.

That will be normal for recordings, though, especially in situations where there are various delays and the live porgramme over-runs, unfortunately that is just the nature of live sporting events.

Sky need to take a leaf out of Apple's book. I'm in the USA on business and have the F1 up on the Apple TV 4K box at the apartment I'm staying at. Apple have the F1 contract in the USA & it comes with the Apple TV subscription. 
I've just watched the full P2 & P3 replays on there in 4K Dolby Vision 60Hz. They look fantastic. Not a stutter or glitch at any point. 
Sort it out Sky. It's not that hard to get it right.

This morning at 10.30 I sat down to watch the start of the F1 season. As it was live at 04.00 hrs and I wasn't able to watch it live, I thought I would be able to watch the whole thing on demand using my Sky Puck. After several attempts where I was offered F3 not F1, I finally found F1 Qualifying. Great, until it came up "Not available try later" In disgust I switched the whole system off, then thought I would give it one more try. Success! this time it was there and it actually started, however after wasting 3 minutes of my life watching adverts (why am I paying sooo much money?) the qualifying suddenly burst into life. I don't recall paying for highly compressed highlights but within a few minutes small fragments of quali 1,2, and 3 were shown and then it was all over? What a waste of money !!! Is this the sign of things to come or have I done something wrong?

Same issue here.

Woke up this morning and qualifying was not available in the playlist, whilst I watched FP3 I checked and the Qualy highlights where on and in the series link so decided to watch the highlights after FP3 but that was not available

Tuned in at 11.30am to watch a re run of qualifying and seen the results instead, I know the live program schedule can change but if the recording had worked correctly last night I wouldn't have tried to watch the re-run today.

No sign of Qualifying in my Playlist. Live: Formula 1, Series 2026 only has the 3 practice sessions. I found a 2hr19m option in the Formula 1 tab (different from Live: Formula 1) but that doesn't have the Sky pre-show, just starts at the F1 opening credits. 

Performed a couple of restarts on my Stream box to see if that forces a refresh but no luck. 

Surely it shouldn't be this difficult so many hours on from the event actually happening to make it available to watch.

P3 doesn't exist. Had to hunt around for p2. Only c4s coverage of quali, despite paying for sky sports and UHD.

At what point does sky have to admit that the service is not fit for purpose.

• I doubt they ever will, if you're paying good money to watch their exclusive channels you should be able to watch when you want!

I thought it would be like this and not just me. I did IT support for 23 years, I know how to reboot something, I understand networking, I understand streaming. But it doesn't refresh and 'arrive'. I even have a smart plug to turn my sky puck off and on again.

It doesn't work.

This isn't just in and out. It's that the recordings are completely missing from catch-up.

I mean, I really don't understand how nobody at sky is aware of this issue given it seems to be affecting so many people on one of the most popular sports.

Have just got off the phone with someone in Customer Priority. Apparently Sky do not have the rights to stream Practice 3 or Qualifying "on demand".

I don't personally believe that for one second, but if that's true then I think we can safely say that Sky Stream has been missold.

It would appear someone has removed my post without contacting me (this was a problem in the last thread too). 

I have been on the phone with Sky Customer Priority who have told me that Sky do not have the rights to broadcast P3 or Qualifying for the Australian grand prix on demand on Sky Stream.
