unable to watch downloaded films

I have several films, that i have purchased and keep. I haven't had a problem before with watching, but currently i am getting an error message " playback unavailable at the moment, please try again" i have had that for several weeks. 

I purchased/downloaded these film as i'm going on a long haul flight next month, and wanted to watch them.

Any help please.
