Sky cinema

I pay £5/month for Sky Cinema yet I have been charged £19.99 for a movie. I don't recall any message at the time of the download telling me I would be billed £19.99 for this. ?

That sounds like you've ordered a movie from the Sky Store which is totally separate to normal Sky Cinema films.

@M+Bon

That is a Sky Store premier film and not a Sky Conema one so the charge is correct so all you can do is to speak to Sky to see if they will refund or credit your account back for it.  While they do not have to it is worth a try as they have a live chat you can use that is available from 11am-7.30pm Monday to Saturday and can be found here:

Re: Sky cinema

Thanks , I am aware of Sky store movies and charges for to rent or buy so I avoid that. I certainly didn't pick up on either of those options either that or I wasn't paying enough attention at the time 🤗

Re: Sky cinema

Cheers, most likely that's what happened but what is odd is how I didn't come across the option to rent or buy, that would have alerted me to being on the Store site rather than Cinema. I don't usually bother with Cinema but I noticed on my recent bill that I am paying £5/month for Sky Cinema so decided to have a look.

Thanks for your response

Re: Sky cinema

The replies were appreciated and very likely correct but it is still a mystery to me that I didn't pick up on the option to rent or buy, I would have definitely stopped at that point as I would certainly not pay £20 for any movie.

Morning @M+Bon

it is definitely worth a try for you to follow the advice from @caesarome and ask the Skystore support team (open at 11am) if they will offer you a goodwill refund - especially if you haven't watched the movie.
