If you have rented online - you are quite limited in how you can view it on a TV
With a recent LG it's easy - you just watch on the built in Skystore app
you can use a Chromecast to cast many rentals (but usually not premiere rentals )
You can also connect a laptop /pc with an HDMI output (again though - the premiere rentals are temperamental.
If none of those are available to you - you might be better trying the Skystore team for a goodwill refund.
