Can no longer purchase films or box office

Any ideas why i can no longer purchase films or bi  office I get a message that say..

( the program can't be purchased at the moment as your account is not enabled for purchases)

I've never had a issue in 20 years plus with sky and customer services can't seem to get a fix I've been on hold and transferred for the last 40 min. Am I missing something it just sounds like something has been disabled on my account that just needs reinstating??

It is difficult to say for sure but a message like that can appear for a few reasons:

 

You have never purchased anything from the Sky Store so you account hasn't been set up.

You have made purchases and now hit a spending limit that is put on the viewing card.

 

So I would get in touch with Sky Store support regarding this, they have a live chat you can use that is available from 11am-7.30pm Monday to Saturday and can be found here:

No, not strange at all as they have access to further tools and information that the customer doesn't.

That should have been can't (rather than can - corrected),.

 

Sky CS may not be able to fix the issue but they should be able to identify and escalate the issue?

I'm pretty such they will be able to find out what the issue is and will be able to correct seeing as they have done when issues like this have been posted on here many time previously so will not be something they haven't come across before.

@M.Griffiths  did you give up on Sky CS and try the Sky Store support team today?
