hi to all

i have sky plus so does sky q use the same LNB and DISH

@mgrover75 Sky Q uses the same dish but the LNB needs to be changed to a wideband LNB the engineer should check the dish and cabling to make sure they are still in good condition

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Sky Q 2 TB (Silver)Box, 2 Mini boxes since June 2016, all connected by wifi
Sky Broadband Hub/SR203, Sky Ultrafast broadband
Ultimate on Demand, Q Experience/UHD, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema
LG 49SJ 810 V UHD TV, Google Pixel 7 Pro mobile

@mgrover75 But as per our previous replies - if  your dish is not suitable (due to a different LNB collar or any other reason) it will also be replaced

This also mentioned in the notes I linked to in post #4 - if you haven;t read them I do suggest you read them as they cover many points that people upgrading may wish / need to know

Are you concerned over such a replacement ?
