if you are a new customer you need to contact Sky and they will arrange a Sky engineer to come and either put up a dish if you don't have one or check an existing dish is compatible and make changes if it need changes made they will also bring the Q box with them
If you have the equipment already and have aquired a box that hasn't been supplied by Sky then afraid its stolen property as all Q boxes are owned by Sky and loaned to the customer.
If you are moving address you could use an independant but are best to use the Sky home move as if an independant installer fits a new dish it must be at a height that Sky can get to under their health and safety procedures so they can maintain the dish in the future

I did consider merging your two discussions but realised that some of the replies would get mixed up so clearer to leave separate.
In theory you could get an independent installer, at your cost, to change the LNB (& dish if needed) but there is no guarantee that SKY would install a Q box connected to it as any LNB must be accessible by them in case of problems
