Re: sky box
Sky are contacting you as from what you've posted you seem to be the account holder. If that's correct you'll be liable for any non return charges not the person who normally pays if that's someone else.

Re: sky box
Hi @TA5 I'm afraid that if the account is in your name, then you need to settle the account. You cannot pass on the liability. It may not seem fair, but if you don't pay then Sky will pass on your debt to a credit agency, which will result in a severe impact on your credit rating.

Re: sky box
Note also that even if you pay the non-return fee it doesn't absolve you from still having to return the box.

Seriously? I thought the non-return fee covered the cost of the box?

@Anonymous
Yep. From this link

Good to know: Paying a Non-return charge doesn’t buy the equipment, it’s just a cost for not returning. It will still be Sky owned and we’ll still want you to return it.

Any idea what they do if it still doesn't get returned once the non-return fee has been taken? Surely they can't try and charge you again?

@Anonymous
It will be remotely disabled so it becomes an expensive door stop.
