Sky support for Sky+HD and earlier systems has ended, you can still get support if you already have Sky Protect insurance otherwise you'll have to find your own 3rd party company to get support from at your own expense

@andy2812   No signal is a TV message, No Satellite signal is a dish issue, which is the correct message?

”No signal” tends to be a message from your TV (in which case check the cables going to the TV).

A “no satellite signal” message relates to your Sky box. It could be weather related if you've had snow, and snow is still on the arm of the dish.

Whenever a “no satellite signal” message is displayed firstly check that the connections from the Sky dish going into the back of your Sky Q box are still finger tight. Also check out the troubleshooting on this link
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal-sky-q
It may then give you the opportunity to arrange an engineer to check the alignment of your dish (it’s not something that will necessarily be visible to the naked eye and could only affect one or two channels). If you’re on a communal dish you may initially need to liaise with your landlord or building management company.

@andy2812  You posted the same question in both the Sky Q & Sky+ forum, which system do you have?

Threads merged, it would be helpful not to create duplicate threads.

On the post that was on the Sky+ board you state you have Sky Protect. If you have Sky Protect (through Domestic and General Insurance) you need to contact them direct. The contact numbers are on your policy.
