Well, yes. You cannot just stop paying - without consequences.
However, can you explain your issue a bit clearer? I assume you are referring to your Q box dropping connection to your router?

Billing continues, even with a fault. If you don't pay Sky will add late payment fees, restrict your services therefore you won't be able to talk to Sky, and they will pass the debt to a debt collection company affecting your credit score so not a wise move.

You are free to ignore any advice here - I would not recommend withholding payment as this doesn't trigger the response you are hoping for.
Continue down the complaint route and ask for a deadlock letter if no result.

A lawyer would probably find that the contract is pretty watertight and you are going to stitch yourself up. Push the complaint by all means.
Sounds like there is something wrong with your router or physical connection if ethernet connected devices are going down. What happens to the router and have you tried another, just out of interest?
also - try leaving the Q disconnected for a night. It's been known to flood the network and worth eliminating from enquiries.

customer service said its an act of god nothing we can do so where in the contract does it say any faults to router or satelite signal are an act of god would you sign a contract that stated this he would not pass us on to a supervisor or manager
