Sky minidishes have a 37.5 mm LNB mounting feedarm collar, standard satellite dishes utilise a 40 mm mounting arm LNB collar, so you will need to source a WIDEBAND LNB that has a 40 mm collar and not try to fit a genuine Sky Wideband LNB.

If you do not have a suitable test meter available I suggest the 'SKEW' angle in this image provides a starting point for optimal reception.

You might find that you require to use a 'Power Inserter' to power a WIDEBAND LNB and the Johansson adaptor.

If you managed to source one of the Global dCSS LNBs you would find that it achieves a good quality stable SCR signal source when mounted on a dish similar in size to your existing one, this image depicts the test performance I achieved back in 2022 when I purchased one out of curiosity.  This LNB would not require the use of a 'Power Inserter'.

Yes, that is the default method of connection used by the vast majority of Sky Q subscribers.

But you knew this already because your initial post stated 'The Wideband LNBs are all with H/V output, and i have just One Cable.. No more possible. and not Wanted!'

Re: Waht SCR LNB for SKY Q?

Okay, it's easier if you know how: simply connect the wideband LNB and two cables to the SKY Q, but then I lose the ability to use my SKY+ HD or E2 receiver... but it's the cheapest option. Thank you.

@Maniatore2006  A Hybrid LNB would work with Sky Q + Sky+HD & E2 receiver, however it would mean additional cable runs for those boxes.

I use one for a Freesat 4K Receiver (2 inputs Wideband/Sky Q type) , a Technisat UHD receiver (1 input Universal type) and also a spare feed to my TV (Universal type).

Re: Waht SCR LNB for SKY Q?

One Question, would this Work as Unicable Solutuion with the SKY Q? I am not Sure..  I measn why i should ever use my old SKY+ again when i am with the SKY Q.. and if i want i just coult Swap it again in the Futute..  Or i have to Buy an Hybride LNB that would deen 3 Cables.

The Premium Unicable PX-dCSS24 is supplied by default with just EN50494 and EN50607 User Bands programmed into it, so it would not be able to support the Sky Q dCSS protocol.

Yes, but remember that you have a 40 mm LNB mounting collar clamp on your standard satellite dish feedarm, so Sky LNBs designed to fit Sky MiniDishes will not fit.

One possible retail source  Retail source for 40 mm collar LNBs

Re: Waht SCR LNB for SKY Q?

I would also use an other Brand as long it works with my SKY Q, and maybe with my older SKY+ or Telly.

And not costs a Fortune and i can use my Dish.

I am Open for ideas. ‌😊‌‌😍‌

At moment i am Usin this Brad, and it is a good one. (Better than my old)

@Maniatore2006  For Astra 28.2 Skew varies from about 15º in the north of Scotland to around 22º in the south west of England, always rotate clockwise as viewed facing the front of the dish.

The LNBs that I suggested have clear Skew angles moulded onto their feedhorns to provide an initial starting point for optimal quality reception for customers who do not have a test meter, hopefully if you choose to purchase an alternative product it will also have the required Skew angle guide markings on its feedhorn, and a 'Pull Down' rainshield over the F connectors.

@Maniatore2006  Looking at your existing satellite dish, the LNB is not using a 'Pull Down' rain shield to provide moisture ingress protection to the coaxial cable F connector, nor does it appear to be utilising the previous default method of using SELF AMALGAMATING tape to prevent moisture ingress. Although it may or may not be using silicone grease in an attempt to stop moisture penetration.

I strongly suggest that when you change your LNB you pay attention to make sure that a modern 'Pull Down' rain shield is correctly configured.

A website called dishpointer would allow an accurate SKEW angle tailored to your specific reception location to be found.
