Please can someone tell me if I can buy a lead that will make my sky box reach the other end of my front room

Typically that will be a twin satellite coaxial cable extension kit, widely available online in assorted lengths.

Check the back of your Q Box, you may only have one or two coax inputs, just buy the extension based of what you already have

Q typically uses two satellite feed cables when supplied from an individual dish.  One cable would usually be from a communal system in flats.
