We have a new sky Q box but have not been sent a viewing card.

You use the one you ejected from your old box before returning it.

We don't have an old sky tv box we are a new customer

Ok, the installing engineer should have one with them when they mount your dish.

The viewing card is normally posted out to be received before the engineer arrives with the Sky Q box. The engineer normally carries spares. How did the engineer show you how the box worked?

Hi @Nicky5 

Are you sure it's a Q TV box you have received?

Normally only the Broadband hub is posted out and all TV boxes are carried by the installer.
