Re: VIP rewards are useless

Cancel it, you can leave without penaalty as its because its a price rise but confirm with them., they will likely call you afteer you cancel to offer a better price for youto stay

It is an absolute disgrace that they rip off existing long standing customers and something OFCOM should outlaw.

You can get your 150 product as a new custome for £24 and all speed are cheaper than the £38.

My broadband full fibre 150 price is rising to £38pm in April.  I am looking at Vodaphone at £28.50 as and from April for exactly the same thing.  I am 18 years with Sky and getting a tad fed up.  Any reason why I should not switch?    Reaching 80 years old next week and every pound is a prisoner.

Hi @117golfdog   As Vodafone & Sky use the same infrastructure (Openreach), the switch should be quick and simple. So, if you know what you are doing technical wise, why the hesitation?

@117golfdog  Unfortunately no matter which provider your with prices go up each year so everyone is on the same merrygoround each time I just say give me the best or I'm off they shake in fear and say oh hang on don't go nearly 8 years later and I'm still with sky as bt/EE got too expensive as I started with them almost 11 years ago

Re: VIP rewards are useless

@SFC  It seems to be the way sadly these days with any company but I have to say I've been lucky with deals and prices with sky  and that's been with first offfers as i ask for example lower than £28.50? They say no and I say well better than £43 is £28.50  they say correct job done for 2 years  and that's broadband

Re: VIP rewards are useless

Happy Days.

After lengthy deliberations and to cut a long conversation short, I am now paying less than i was, and should any of the April increases affect me, ( they may not), then I would still be paying the same as I am now. The strange thing about all of this was they could not offer me any deals on my current 150 full fibre, but were able to do so on 500?  So a result, and happy birthday to me.

Thanks for all your replies.
