@PurplePaul Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

@PurplePaul

The Sky Duetschland is nothing to worry about, that is just the name on the TV has applied to the input source for Sky, it won't effect your viewing.

In regards to your recordings please fully reboot your box by putting it in stanbdy and turning it off at the mains at the wall

Once you've rebooted the box try to record something that is being aired live to make sure it will record furthur programs ok.

That mesage is originating from your TV.
As described  in this Sky help article;

What to do if you see the message 'Sky Deutschland' appearing on your TV screen
This message is being picked up by your TV via the HDMI connection to your Sky Q box and is labelling the HDMI connection, to fix this simply go into your TV settings, and rename the HDMI connection title.

Try repowering your Sky Q main box, by removing the power for a few minutes.
I would suggest doing the same with the TV also.
