TNT/HBO APP Deciphering use.

Trying to fully understand HBO/TNT access.

I presume you need to sign up via Sky to be able to record on Q (makes sense). BUT does that £34.00 also give you FULL access to TNT via HBO  app and all the catch up.

I suspect it would make more sense to forego recording(Q) and just sign up directly with HBO and use the app at 30.99(rolling) or 25.99(12mth) for TNT.

Yes understand the 4.99 standard with adds for HBO MAX in fact have the premium at an extra 10.. via sky (14.99 - the 4.99

I'm asking about TNT and does the subscription through sky gives you FULL access to the sports part of the app with all the catch up parts.

@Ronj  Yes it does

hi @Ronj

No - the HBO access given as  part of SKY subscriptions is just for the Base with Ads tier.

TNT Sports is a premium add on in addition.

If you only want TNT sports then you may be better subscribing direct

If so the only benefit of paying more through sky is the ability to record.

If you subscribe to TNTsport though Sky for£34 you get the 4  linner channels plus access to the all the TNT sport content in the HBO max app. If you subscribe to HBO max direct for TNT sport content you will get all TNT sport content though the app only and it cost £32. If you get a   Sky  entertainment package you will get the  basic HBO max entertainment package with you subscription and you might as well subscribe to TNT sport though Sky for the difference of £2 and you will have both HBO max entertainment package and TNT sport on the same login as well as the 4 linner channels. However you can not  get HBO max app though Sky without a TNT subscription and unless you subscribe to Sky for entertainment subscription you can't get TNT sport though Sky on it own.
