Stuttering sound and picture occasionally in the evening on sky Q minibox

In the evening I get stuttering sound and a small bit of the picture on a Sky Q minibox. Subtitles are fine with no interruption.  I have tried various resets and power off etc, but is there a recommended sequence for main box, min box, routers etc?

despite resetting all devices in a particular order as advised, the problem is still apparent
