So, I moved house 11 months ago and had Sky Q installed. I connected my Sonos beam and the sound was perfect but for some reason the Sonos beam has stopped working with the Sky Q box and I can only get sound through the TV speakers (Sony Bravia). I have unplugged and plugged the cables back in and updated software but nothing. However, I can still play music through the Beam from my macbook and the sky remote still works increasing and decreasing the volume on the Beam. I'm going to have another attempt tonight to start from scratch with the cables, but has anyone else had this baffling problem?

hi @Futureself
If I am correct the Sonos beam relies on the ARC connection from the TV..
1st thing if you haven't already is to do a power down restart of your TV (switch off at mains or unplug) (& probably Sonos Beam)
After that double check the HDMI Digital audio out settings on your TV to ensure auto (rather than PCM) & that the TV s set to use Audio System
