Software download issue

trying to download the software update on my skyq box and it's taking a lot longer than the 10 minutes. Currently on about 40. Any suggestions?

Hi @Zoe98   Did you follow the correct procedure 1. set off the software update. 2. Carry on viewing on the Sky Q box for at least 30 minutes. 3. Put the Sky Q box in Standby. The Sky Q box should then restart and perform the software update (if required). Note if the software is already up to date, all you have done is a power recycle of the box. Why did you attempt the software update?

Hi there - I downloaded because my live tv and none of the apps were working. There's just nothing happening now so not sure what to do

Hi @Zoe98   What is the current status of the box and lights. If it is off, what happens when you turn it on using the power button on the actual box.

My Sky Q box is stuck in standby | Sky Help | Sky.com | Sky Help | Sky.com
