Soccer Saturday Series Link

Hi, anyone know why you can't put a Series Link on Soccer Saturday?

I know it's sometimes up to the broadcaster but it's a Sky show and a Sky product.

That doesn't mean it has to be possible to Series link.

Sky have obviously decided that it cannot be linked.

This does happen with other Sky Sports content occasionally.

You used to be able to series link it with Sky+ HD so before Sky Q it used to work fine.

It's a show that's on every week on the same day at the same time.

@andyghfc74 Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

this isn't a fault.

The show shows as Record once in the TV Guide and so Sky have decided not to series link it.

Yeah i'm in the habit of resetting the Sky Q box nearly everyday at the moment as i've got connection issues with the Sky Minis upstairs., that's another issue though! 

Was just wondering if there's any Soccer Saturday fans out there who do find it a tad annoying that you can't add a series link as i sometimes forget to record it.

I am a Sky+HD customer and can't series link either so this is a broadcast issue and is nothing to do with your box.

Not just soccer saturday. Saturday Social now too. I used to series link it, Saturday mornings are chaos in many homes (kids footy, kids rugby, kids drama, breakfast for kids... Goes on), so series linking shows you like to sit down with your kids when you get a spare 40 minutes is nice. And sky have chosen, for no obvious reason, to remove this very basic of features.

Series link as a feature is just a standard now isn't it? If the feature was brand new, or never offered before I wouldn't notice, but come on... Why remove the feature?

Getting sick of Sky, so very expensive , for worsening service. Charge you extra for HD (still!!!), no doubt their plan is to start charging for individual features like series link.

Does anyone know why or when this is to be brought back?
