SkyQ help needed

Hi I am having trouble with my skyQ box I have lost all of my sky channels and I can only get Freeview.Lastnight they were all fine but when I put my TV on this morning I can't get any sky channels.I have checked all of the connections and they are fine.Any help would be very appreciated thank you.

Hi @Uncfingerse 

First check that your viewing card is correctly inserted. Viewing card is in the right hand end of the box.
If it is in correctly there is not enough of it sticking out to grip and remove it.
Push it fully in and it will pop out slightly enough so you can remove it.
Make sure that it is in chip side up and chip end in first. Push it gently fully in and you should feel a slight click when it is engaged. If it has popped out enough to remove it is not located correctly.
If you are satisfied that it is in correctly
Try refreshing your Viewing card.
Home - Settings - System info.
Highlight Viewing card number and then select Setup on the right hand side.
Then select Use this option to trigger a callback

No call is actually made but the Viewing card should be refreshed.

Thanks for your reply I have tried what you said cards fine but I can't get on to home because nothing is registering as it won't let me click on anything .

Hi @Uncfingerse 

First reset your Q Bluetooth remote to infrared mode.

You can do this by pressing and holding 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.

Then see if the remote will operate the Q box.  As it is now in infrared it needs line of sight so you must point the remote at the Q box infrared sensor.

If you can now operate your Q box you can re pair the remote.

To do this make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Is the Q box led on the right front,  Green or Amber ?

If Green what exactly is onscreen?
