Anyone else suddenly lost All chanels? Apparently 'no chanels at all are being broadcast at this this time' - this is on the Q and the mini boxes. Both boxes are showing recordings and on demand etc ok.
Clearly an issue with the signal in this area!

hi @Petsy
Satellite signals are not localsed to one part of the Country and such problem would affect the whole of the UK & Ireland
The first thing to try is restart your main SKY Q box :
Use the remote to place it into standby mode
Then remove the power to it (either switch off at mains or remove the power plug)
Wait at least 30s
Then re-apply the power & wait for it to fully restart - this may take a few minutes.
Once the main box is restarted do the same power down on each of the mini boxes.

Rebooted (even fully unplugged both boxes from wall). Didnt work, still no live chanels on either box. Both boxes are fully connected and showing no error. All intetactive services are fine, only live suddenly went caput.
Still 'no chanels being broadcast at this time'.

Sky has something like eleven million television households in the UK: if one or more of the three satellites failed (they cover the whole country plus the Republic of Ireland), people would notice rather rapidly, Twitter would explode and this forum would melt: fairly soon afterwards it would be national news.
Reception issues are almost always related to an individual dish, cable and/or box at a particular address.
