Sky has been crashing all night but I also can't watch catch up, I have an HD subscription

Switch off Eco mode in settings . That worked for me it was switching off every 5 mins before that

Screen goes black and the box can't but switched off. Have to switch off at mains. Done it 4 times tonight

Same with me. Have tried downloading new software version and also clearing out nearly all recordings and is still  happening.

I found a fix

To resolve the issue
go to settings > setup > preferences > turn off smart standby and set standby to active 

I did this over 40 mins ago and no issues

I think it is a software issue 

What worked for me was to switch off ECO mode and it working fine now 

I bet they have done a dodgy software update that has made that mode think you are not watching

Sky box kept turning off all night. Can't get through to anyone. Shocking service considering how much I pay Sky every month. Considering leaving now. Just awful service

Same problem Tv crashing switching off. After Restarting however after few minutes again same problem.
