Sky q switches off

Same as others have posted. Sky Q box has crashed 4 times since 9:30pm tonight. Black screen, green light remains on Q box but . Sky remote is unresponsive. Unplugging the box from mains and plugging back in is the only thing that gets the box to turn back on again but only seems to last for 20-30 mins before it goes off again. Thought my box was on the way out but looks like it's a widespread issue. Strangely over the past few weeks we have had a black screen (like loss of HDMI signal) when in live TV and also on apps for a couple of seconds before the picture returns. Not sure if this is connected to this issue or something else entirely?

Yep, same here. Had this Sky Q box for 2 years with no issues. All of a sudden it shuts off every 5 minutes, same as everyone else is reporting. Why on earth aren't SKY fixing this, it's obviously a software issue / bug. Has anyone called them and reported it?

My Sky ox crashes every 10 minutes, it isn't helpful to reboot.

Ditto, same issue Sky Q box switches off, reboot and then bang back to square one.

System update...still updating then crashes.

Sky Q just shuts down randomly. If you turn the power off, it comes back on. But then it freezes up again. Mini boxes won't connect. Also, the app isn't working.

Its happening to nearly everyone, don't panic just watch normal tv or put a dvd on it will be fine by morning. DON'T  do a hard drive wipe and lose all your films/shows just wait for sky to either sort it out or finally let us know how we can sort it out.
