My mini box in my bedroom will not connect to the main box or the internet. It says I have a broadband fault but every other electronic in the house that needs WiFi is working, even the main sky box, only thing that isn't, is this. My broadband company have confirmed no issues with them and I've been on hold trying to get through to someone at sky for 1hr 34mins and counting. Shocking 'service'. I have also already tried all the 'help' suggestions on the website, nothing is working. I'm slowly losing the will to live, I just want to watch tv in bed, not much to ask for my £70 a month subscription fee.

Minis will only connect to the WiFi generated by Q devices. They will not connect by WiFi to 3rd party broadband routers.
Assume you have tried a Network reset on the mini.
Network Reset found in mini box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WPS to your main Q box.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the Main Q box. (Not on the mini box as the Network reset will start the mini Q box WPS automatically).
If the issue continues it may be worth contacting Sky for a Q WiFi booster to position midway between the main Q box and the mini.

Appreciate your reply, I have literally tried it all. Have had it connected to this same set up for the last 3 years and usually works in the end, been nearly 3 days now and nothing doing. I'm just going to cancel, £70 a month for this is ridiculous to be fair.

Hi.
I had the same problem.
my sky q mini is upstairs in bedroom.
I spent days trying to connect it to main sky box.
this worked for me
go downstairs and press the button ( 2 arrows in a circle ) that shows on your tv screen for the sky Mini box
But press it on your sky q MAIN box and wait till that blinks.
I did it and when I went back upstairs.....I was connected. Can now watch in the bedroom.
