First try rebooting the main Q box and then when this is completely back up and running reboot the mini.
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.
Reboot the mini as above.
If the mini still does not connect try a Network Reset on the mini.
Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the main Q box (not the mini).
If you are on Sky Broadband and the Router is nearer to the mini than the main box then you can try pressing WPS on the router instead of the main Q box

Check that the HDMI cable is securely connected to TV and Q box.
Also check that you have selected the correct HDMI input for the Q box on your TV.
When you rebooted the mini did you get any message on your TV?

Sky q mini box keeps stalling. Finally after about 40 minutes, a message has popped up saying connectivity issue between main box and mini box. No solution given

Sky mini box has technical fault I can get listings and see what recordings are available but when I select anything I get 'technical fault. All boxes ticked in settings on both boxes and other mini box works ok

Tv switched but no lights on mini box other thsn small red light glow from rear, indicating power on but no other lights showing in front

Sky TV working fine on main set. All green lights on Q Plus extension box. No Lights showing when buttons pressed on mini black box on second TV in Kitchen wwhich is unable to connect. Small light on back of black mini Box but no lights on fron when buttons pressed. Worked fine for months but no connection since yesterday.

Hi
my sky mini box has stopped working and I can't get a number anywhere to call !!!
I've tried it in another tv and nothing , it does say on the tv where the main sky box is connected the it's "connected" . When the plug is switched on the red light comes on then immediately goes off . Any ideas ? Thank you
