Was emailed today we have been given a free movie as apology for technical issues. 
but it says to redeem in sky store - gift on us. There is no option on my sky for this.

As compensation for the loss of Sky q & being sent email to get a free buy & keep film download.

It says you get it to keep & watch forever, so as its on the box surely & am entitled to keep the box at the end of my contract to be able to play it forever?

However you can still access it by watching on your tablet or phone with the Sky Store app.

Nice try but a Sky Q box is owned by Sky so would need to be returned to them should you leave. The film and any other Buy and Keep films you have can still be accessed on other devices as mentioned by @oldfella
