Following the issues with Sky Q last week I see others have received a free gift i.e. a movie, as compensation.

I was also affected but have not received an email with the free gift.

Did you need to have lodged an official complaint to qualify?

Check on your Q box as detailed - I suspect it will be there...

Go to: Sky Store > Featured > Top Picks > Your Sky Store Gift On Us

If it doesn't yet show try again later or tomorrow.

Not explained well....go to sky store then select featured...scroll down one to top picks then scroll across 3 and you will see the sky store have a gift on us.

I have the free gift on my sky menu however when I go into it and try and choose a movie, they are all priced as normal. this happens every time a free film is offered. It is never zero on my account  

what do I need to do to claim it for free without risking being charged?

What a poor choice, for the right carry-on we had that night and no TV at all in the end, after the 6th reboot! I've either seen them or don't want to, and have all those movies on other platforms anyway. Poor show Sky. I thought we were getting a choice of anything, including new releases!

Ditto! Seriously underwhelmed. I thought it would be a new movie. Got all excited for nothing. 35 years with sky here 🤣

The email clearly stated … selected  Sky Store HD Digital Buy & Keep movies only.

I obviously overlooked that in my excitement! However, all of those are on Netflix/Prime or Sky Cinema, all of which I have. Not impressed.
