A bit of a con job from Sky if you have a movie subscription. I could download all the "Free Gift Movies" as part of my package so gift was of no benifit to me.

I called them and said you are giving me something that I already have access to and was told not everyone has a movies subscription, so I said because I pay more I get nothing for a service failure. That makes perfect sense !! Agent checked with a manager and they said they will issue me with a credit of 7.99 but not seeing it on my account yet.

Worth calling them out on this kind of rubbish

All prices are still showing on my box (even within the 'our gift to you' selection). Will I actually be charged, or do I need to reboot for these to be shown with the price crossed out?

If prices are shown then you will be charged so you could try a reboot if you have been sent the email from Sky about this.

That looks slightly different, like it might be from Sky Glass or Sky Stream. Is that the case? If so the offer is only open to Sky Q customers. Sky Glass/Stream were not affected by the technical problem last week.

If you're not happy with the offer then there's nothing stopping you calling and ask for 'more'.

For most it was a tiny outage that pro-rata is virtually nothing...
