Sky Sports Plus Error

Is anyone else getting this error trying to watch a game of Sky sports plus?

Hi @Spitfire1000 

Have you checked that you are on the latest Q software?

However bear if mind that when you select Setup (in Setting - System info - Software version) the message received will always be update this box with the latest software even if the box is already on the latest version.
Updating when already on the latest version achieves nothing and the box software is not refreshed.

I'm trying to watch Charlton v Birmingham but it happens on every stream. 

Sky sports football fine for the Wrexham game. As soon as I press the red button for match choice, the error appears. I can watch on my mobile app, but want to watch on the tv! 

Any help appreciated!

You are not trying to watch a game that hasn't started yet are you? Think they are 7:45 kick offs.

Yep, I am watching on Q now without issue.

Have you tried the steps recommended by @oldfella ?

Or at least try a full power cycle on the box (unplug at the mains for 5 minutes).

Hi @Spitfire1000 

Assume you checked first that it isn't already on the latest version?

Next thing to try is to refresh the Apps in the Hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Select Apps 
then highlight Refresh all Apps on this box.
You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'. This will stay on screen until you press Dismiss to return to normal viewing
It’s recommended waiting at least 5 minutes before doing so.

Refresh Apps can take up to 24 hrs to complete .
