Sky Q remote not controlling the volume

The Sky Q remote is no longer controlling the volume on my Sony Bravia TV. It keeps saying "TV volume is fixed". If I change the Audio Out to "variable" ,it doesn't connect to the TV speakers (Sony Home Threate System DAV-TZ140)

hi @BDyges 

As you are getting a message from the TV then that would indicate that the remote is sending suitable codes to the TV and not likely to be a SKY Q remote issue

I thus think it is something your TV/AV system set up which most of us are unlikely to be able to advise - although some may have a simlar Sony set up
