The only thing that the minis cannot do is UltraHD.
UHD is only available on the main Q box.

The mini box is working fine to watch certain channels , I tested sky Atlantic and that didn't work , I knew something was wrong . And I know that I've subscribed to the HD pack , then the sky engineer gave me 4 months free of the ultra HD . Appreciate your advice , thank you . Will have to ring sky tomorrow and I'm sure they will sort it . I hoped I could sort it myself by obviously not . Anyway thank you .

I admit I have not heard of your specific problem before (i.e. working on the main but no via the mini) - although I cannot guarantee if/when the team we escalate to will get in touch - they should be able to sort you - but you may dfind braving the phones a quickler option

I am still stuck though. I have added the HD subscription but still don't have access to any of the HD channels or recordings what else can I do?

I would ring sky tomorrow when they are open and they will help I'm sure . Really frustrating tho .

Thank you it is I didn't get home until late and it had arrived so was excited to set up until getting a problem 🙃 fingers crossed they make it work.

Oh I know , I changed over from the old sky hd boxes today to the sky Q and so far not impressed ! Lol . I'm sure sky will fix it for us ! Ring them tomorrow !

I managed to do it! I don't know if it will help you or whether you have tried it but I thought the last thing I could try was to unplug count to 10 and plugged back in and my mini q is now working with HD channels and my recordings that are in HD. Soni can only assume the on demand stuff will work haven't tried that but I can now watch my show and will look at everything else tomorrow.

All done now ! I did it myself . The problem was that the engineer who installed my skyQ box and the mini box had not updated the software on the mini box to mirror the main sky Q box . I did it myself last night , and now it's working perfectly . Thank you for coming back to me though .

Hiya , I managed to do mine last night too ! It was that the mini box wasn't updated to the latest software version ! It should be the same on both boxes ! So I updated the mini box last night , rebooted the mini box and now it's working perfect !
