Hi!
we've never had a great connection with our mini box but now it won't connect at all. We've tried resetting main and mini box multiple times. We get to step 2 of 4 and that's as fair as we can go. It seems to never recognise us pressing the wps.
any ideas on how we can get it working please?
thanks!

Hi @MFish75
First try rebooting the main Q box and then when this is completely back up and running reboot the mini.
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.
Reboot the mini as above.
If the mini still does not connect try a Network Reset on the mini.
Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the main Q box (not the mini as the Network reset will start the mini WPS automatically).
If you are on Sky Broadband and the Router is nearer to the mini than the main box then you can try pressing WPS on the router instead of the main Q box. If you do this make sure you press the Sky router WPS button and not the router reset button.
Failing all of the above you may need a Sky Q WiFi Booster to position midway between your main Q box and the mini and you will need to contact Sky directly.

I'm having the exact same problem with our 2 skq Q minis. Pressing the WPS on the main box and still not working. Have 2 useless boxes at the moment! Can anyone help before I get an engineer involved please?

Same issue. It started a couple of days ago and since then have had to reconnect my mini box every evening to my wifi. Now today had to do the same with the main Sky Q box.
The mini says its connected to the router but internet is not available, but internet connection is fine for every other device connected.
Restarted everything, re-added all devices and this does not fix the issue.

Exactly the same going on with my Sky Mini box. It's driving me crazy! Engineer booked for Tuesday. Hope you get yours sorted soon.

Engineers visit reconnected Sky Q to Mini - be careful to wait for all prior WPS attempts to complete before trying a second time or second connection (give it at least 5 but maybe 10 mins).
other than this the primary issue appeared to be driven by useless Sky Max Hub that would not hold connection to Sky Q - turns out that you should NOT use WPS connection from Max to Sky Q but should manually choose network in Sky Q (as per using a 3rd party router).
Hope this helps someone
