I've been thinking about getting rid of Sky TV as we're not making much use of many of the channels (watching a few repeats of Only Fools at Christmas doesn't justify the cost). We have a Q box and I read that there is a Sky Q Essentials package that lets you keep the box for a subscription. I just had a few questions:
1. Can you still use the box to pause and record TV? And how many channels can you record at once?
2. Will I still be able to keep and watch the recordings on my Q box? There's a few movies on there that we re-watch quite often.
Thanks for your help

@Savlesostas You can still record and playback the same number of channels you can currently
any recordings on subscription channels you cancel will no longer play as you need the appropriate subscription

Re: Sky Q essentials details
Thanks so much for your reply. Almost everything that I've recorded is from a free to air channel, so am I right to think that they'll still be accessible?
