My Sky q box and my tv won't recognise each other. I am on my 3rd box and sky "cant" send an engineer until the 21st Feb next year. Meanwhile, I still have to pay for sky tv. I'm not at all happy! 🤨
What exactly is your issue @GrimReader ?
ie in what will they not recognise each other?

Hi, Oldfella! The tv gives me a "no signal" notice, and the sky q box doesn't go past the "you will be up and running..." notice. The sky q box light stays on red. I haven't moved any cables from anywhere, until the fault first began. I have been through the reset so many times!

Hi @GrimReader
Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the min box.
If this turns the mini box on
With the mini box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the mini box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair to TV.

Unfortunately, I don't have a mini box. I only have a main box. Since the box won't turn on, I can't connect the remote.

How are you getting both of these? Is it at different times?

Yeah that's what I said
That says to me the box is knackered and unable to boot properly.

It's the 3rd box in a week. They can't all be broken, surely?

It happens quite often 😄. Confusing because the actual Reply button is just a swooshy arrow. Unintuitive.
