Sky Q box replacement

I have a replacement  Sky Q box arriving tomorrow after I submitted an on-line request.  I understand that my old box must be returned.  Do I just hand the old box over to the courier (after removing the viewing card), or will I be given packaging to use?

Yes just put it in the box the new one came in. The courier will wait.

make sure you take the power cable that comes with the new one, there are two types.

Thanks @Chodley .  I currently have the "brick box" power supply that connects to the Q box via an orange plug.  I was intending to keep it (along with the HDMI lead) just in case there any problems with the new ones.

You should return the external power supply if the new box does not need it (just check any replacement boxes  to ensure they have one if needed)

Make sure you remove your viewing card before sending the old box back

It's quite likely that's the wrong type for the new box
