Sky Q box replacement

Following recurrent problems with the hard drive on the Sky Q box, I was told that a replacement box would be sent out. That was three days ago and have not heard anything, have checked pending orders but it says no current orders. Is this the general way of things or should I be worried.

Give Sky a call and chase up what is known as a doorstep box swap. Remember to remove your viewing card from the faulty box before DPD take it away.


You can call Sky free by dialling 150 from a Sky Talk landline or a Sky Mobile. Alternatively you can use:
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and a 0333 number is displayed.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a dedicated 0818 ROI number.
(The forum doesn’t allow us to type the numbers in full).

Thanks Daniel0210 I will try that and great tip to remember the viewing card before the box is collected.
