I received a new sky Q today. All working fine except Bbc saying not support and need to upgrade to

I received a new sky q box replacement today. All installed fine except for Bbc saying not supported and need to upgrade to HD.  Totally confused as sky q box.  Can anyone help.

make sure it's on the latest software. Is 101 listed as BBC One Regional HD?

Hopefully it will sort itself out

 

May I suggest you try a power down restart of your main SKY Q box :

Use the remote to place it into standby mode
Then remove the power to it (either switch off at mains or remove the power plug)
Wait at least 30s
Then re-apply the power & wait for it to fully restart - this may take a few minutes.

Once the main box is restarted do the same power down on each of the mini boxes.

 

 

If that doesn't sort it,  in the short term try watching one of the alternate regional channels you will find  in 951 onwards 

 

If it still persits after a couple of days come back & we will escalate to a support team
