Sky Q box not working properly
My sky Q box doesn't appear to be working, keeps dropping and freezing. Have switch off and on at wall several times. Recordings not working. I've had the sky Q box a few years now - feels like I might need a new one. Often seeing the message at top of screen 'there is a technical fault with this channel...

Try a Reset Settings in the hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Scroll down to Reset
Only Carry out the first Reset (Reset Settings) as the other two will wipe all recordings.
After the Reset you may have to re pair your Bluetooth remote If you use one.

Thank you - I've done that and re-paired the remote but still problems eg won't let me rewind or view recordings and now screen frozen again. Ive switched off and on again

In that case, as you suggested, it could be the box is on the way out. Probably time to give Sky a call and get an engineer out who may eventually replace the box.
