Sky Q box crashes when you press Home Button on remote

Having issues with Sky Q box all day. Everytime we pressed the Home button on the remote the box crashed. After unplugging and waiting a few minutes, the box would a) either no start up, so unplugged again b) would start up but freeze at Hello page c) Would start up and SKy Q Mini's would work but main box would crash if you pressed a button on the remote. Nave now just restarted and frozen on Step 1 of 2 on Software update with red light blinking between red and green. Any thoughts?
