Add me to list. Please fix Sky.

I've been having the same problem watching Amazon, Disney plus and Netflix apps pixelating when watching through Sky q 1tb uhd box.
Done all the usual stuff, rebooting, resetting WiFi and router. No problem with my internet here and got speeds of 260mps.
Please Sky sort this out, not a major issue but a bit annoying.

Same here...almost unwatchable at times! Perhaps all affected should start asking for refunds on services they can't use???

Plus...I don't have a smart tv, so only way to get these services is through the box 😡

Quick update on my experience..
I've noticed that all my boxes (main + 3 mini's) have had a minor software bump.
Previously they were all on Q270.000.08.00L, now I've noticed they're all on Q270.000.10.02L
This can only have happened in the last few days.
Out of curiosity (I switched exclusively to watching via Smart TV apps) I watched a show via Disney+ thru my Sky box and it was flawless. Only time will tell whether it's just pure luck or it's an actual software fix I've got here. I'll just have to monitor it.

Thanks for that Dave-Lad, I'll check this out myself and post my observations. Lad is on YouTube at the moment so will be a bit later today (YouTube is of course Flawless!)

Raising a complaint can get results.

Yup, another one here with the same issue across Apple TV and Disney, from what I have tested so far. Both apps work fine when I run them via my LG TV, but pixellate when run through Sky.

Maybe too early to say but update looking hopeful so far....

Just manually updated it's no different pixelating again within 2mins

Did it actually update though?
If you go in to manually update, unless you are in the tranche of users that is due to get an update it goes through the update process, says you have been updated, but when you go back into 'System info', find you are still on the previous release.
As an example, I haven't had an update, forcing one completes the process but I remain on Q270.000.08.00L

Yes I've just done a manual software update and it's stayed on the 08.00L version

I have the new version but still getting pixelating on Netflix, Prime, etc.

I've just phoned sky technical help and reported this problem so hopefully someone will look into and get it resolved

As mentioned elsewhere in this thread, this is a known problem and a software fix is being worked on
