Sky Q 2TB box needs resetting daily

Good evening all

 

I'm totally stumped. 

2 months ago I was upgraded from BT to EE full fiber and which initially helped massively with sky ( using Netflix Amazon prime video etc, no buffering at all etc) 

 

However a week after broadband  install, the sky q box became noisey ( fan on ) and won't switch on, after switching off and on at the mains, it would work and then the next day off it goes. 

I was given a new sky q 2 tb box  and within 2 days same issue (after I did a software update) 

 

3rd new sky box. 

worked fine, did the software update and guess what, it's done it again, this time 3 times in one day.

 

ive done the reset settings lark.. 

 

but this is really starting to wind me up now. 

the box is in  position with good ventilation and nothing on top of it etc, 

 

anyone got any ideas before I ring sky? Is the software corrupt?
