Re: Sky F1 UHD / HDR feed stutter

I see a new version of Firmware is on the Panasonic website.

Version RS8141/3009 that adds Calman Calibration & improves System Stability,

Hopefully also fixes the stuttering in HLG HDR, but as yet I haven't been able to update to this version.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Yeah just seen. I'll try and see if it's available when I get back home later.

I can't get it yet. Think it took a few days last time.

Re: Sky F1 UHD / HDR feed stutter

Well interestingly I emailed Panasonic the other day before the update.

They've emailed today to say they're looking into it still. So I don't have much hope for this update.

Re: Sky F1 UHD / HDR feed stutter

So yesterday I finally got the software available, however it was not the version that Panasonic mentioned. I only got RS8138/2921.

I emailed Panasonic and this is what I had back

Thank you for reaching out and bringing this to our attention.

Version RS8138/2921 was released on Apr. 29, 2025.

I can confirm that the latest software update version is indeed RS8141/3009.

If the TV has issues locating the new update, you may try to power cycle the unit or even perform a factory reset.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Yeah mine flashed an update on Saturday, but the version never changed. I'll try a power cycle later and see then. Don't really want to factory reset but will do if I have to.

Ditto, mine did a system components update on Saturday or Sunday but still hasn't updated to Version RS8141/3009.

I would hold off doing a factory reset for a few more days as the previous update , dated 29th April, didn't actually become available until 7th May, despite what it said on the Panasonic web site.

Re: Sky F1 UHD / HDR feed stutter

So My TV has now downloaded that recent software update. I am now on RS8141/3009.

HDR issue with screen stuttering is gone however now the screen goes blank (black) for half of a second. It happens every few minutes. So old problem replaced with a new one.

I managed to record a video and sent to Panasonic.

not sure how long it will take now ?

Re: Sky F1 UHD / HDR feed stutter

Oh I had this originally back in December/January. I power cycled and removed the HDMI for a bit and then it disappeared.

Interesting, my TV still thinks that  RS8138/2921 is the latest version and is up to date. Will try updating again in the morning.

You know in the pre-internet says, it became convention to just use the " symbol to delimit quoted text, a lot more elegant 😁

I hope this works, holding off on a TV upgrade thanks to this issue.

edit: oh a new issue, great

Re: Sky F1 UHD / HDR feed stutter

As others have said following the latest upgrade the picture no longer stutters. Now it just goes completely back every 30 seconds or so. Still unwatchable and very frustrating!
