Re: Sky F1 UHD / HDR feed stutter
Yes I'm using SkyQ.. Newly delivered 2TB box. Software version Q300.000.06.00L(5yzv4ns) hardware 32B12D. I downloaded "The last of us" in UHD with HDR. There is also some screen judder when watching that.

Re: Sky F1 UHD / HDR feed stutter
@BenJoBanjo Yeah it is complete pot luck. The engineers just pick them up from a locker each morning depending on the jobs in hand. Also if you do a manual install, again they just state, 2TB UHD box and it's whatever is left.

Thats a Version 2 box as well, same as mine which is a 32B108, and it's running the latest software.
You do seem have the same issue as myself and other members on this thread.

@Tarrantino wrote:Oh and to add, I too cannot get the software update which is dated 29/04 for the TV. I tried again earlier and nothing.
Panasonic UK contacted me, this morning, to ask what error message I am getting when trying to update to Version RS8138/2921.
I have pointed out that there are no errors, the TV simply reports that Firmware RS8130/3200 is upto date, when you check for updates!!

Wonder if that suggests they think there's a fix within this latest software update. I've not been able to do anything either.

Re: Sky F1 UHD / HDR feed stutter
I've managed to install the latest update on the TV and it's still the same.

Yep, mine updated as well but unfortunately, as you say, the stuttering remains.
I will update my case with Panasonic.
Slightly disappointed as was hoping this was going to be the fix.

i took this thread into our Superusers closed forum to see if we can call in any Sky help, to work along with Panasonic.
It has been requested from Sky, they may be able to help further.
Do you have any kind of reference information or contact info that you are dealing with at Panasonic, re the issues that Sky can then engage with Panasonic directly on.
We will be happy to forward that onto Sky.
If you wish, you can PM the details and will pass on, rather than presenting the information in a post here.
@lettice has Sky come back with anything? I've not heard from Panasonic yet about anything.

I have had two e-mails from Panasonic recently.
The first asking me to confirm that my TV had updated to the latest version of Firmware and that the stutter issue was still present , and the second (15th May) informing me that they were still working on the problem at the factory and that I will be contacted "once the relavent team reports back".

Re: Sky F1 UHD / HDR feed stutter
Not heard anything more.
But, as in my previous postings, Sky were made aware and would have sourced any contact with Panasonic to work on the issue.
It sure sounds like a joint effort to get the issue fixed.

Re: Sky F1 UHD / HDR feed stutter
@lettice The sky engineer I spoke to put the blame fully on Panasonic which isn't a surprise. Sky suggested Panasonic could send a USB stick with an old version of their software. Panasonic said this was never something they would do. Panasonic raised ticket. Will DM you the number

Issue when streaming HDR content on Sky Q and Apps
hi there
I was wondering if someone could help me with HDR issues.
This is what I have
- TV Panasonic TV-42Z90AEB (2024) OLED HDR 4K Ultra HD Smart Fire TV, 42 inch with Freely & Dolby Atmos
- Sky Q Box
- High Speed HDMI cable -UGREEN HDMI 2.1 Cable Certified 10K 8K 4K 1440P@240/165/144/120Hz eARC HDR Ultra High Speed 48Gbps HDCP 2.3 Dolby Atmos Vision Compatible for PS5 Xbox Series S Soundbar TV Game Monitor Laptop PC(2M)
- Sky Q box settings are set to UHD 2180 with 10 bit
Issue
When I watch Sky programs with UHD+HDR the screen often sort of stops for half of the second. It feels like TV sceen can not always catch up with the speed. This happens every few minutes and it is a bit annoying. When I watch the same program in just UHD it is fine.
The same problem is when watching programs on Netflix App, Apple Tv, Disney+ etc but only when the show is in HDR or HDR(PQ). When the show is not in HDR it is fine.
Any idea what can be wrong?
many thanks in advance

hi @Arek3
I have moved your post onto an existing discussion which seems to indicate that customers of similar TVs from Panasonic are have some problems (my older GZ950 does not)
Please read the later posts - as you will see some have been in contact with Panasonic and have a ticket pen with them.
Unfortunately it seems neither Panasonic or SKY seem to have got to the bottom of it

Re: Issue when streaming HDR content on Sky Q and Apps
Thank you for moving my issue here. I thought I was going mad but when reading other comments I am not the only one here.
I will try to contact Panasonic myself.
When I spoke to them this week they suggested to change HDR settings from Dynamic to Static but it did not change anything,
will call them again

Yes please call Panasonic again. Re the TV apps. Log in on them via your TV. Netflix and Disney will give you Dolby Vision for example. Much better experience. I don't use any apps on the Sky Q box now.
