Sky Essentials Channel Missing

Hi! I was wondering if anyone could help - it says that I have not subscribed to Sky Atlantic even though it says that it is included in Sky Essentials (it was also mentioned when I spoke to advisors when changing my TV package) - what do I do?

@Melissa31d  Sky Atlantic via essentials is only available on glass/stream not Q

 whilst similar named between the two platforms the channel choice within the two different packages are different

Indeed - if the advisors said you will get Atlantic on Q essentials then they have misled you...

As the others have indicated, SKY rather unwisely have used very similar names for slightly different products on different platforms.

 

SKY Essentials on SKY Q  is just the Free To Air channels and does not include SKY Atlantic or Netflix, whereas the similarly named Essential TV streaming package (on SKY Glass/Stream) does include SKY Atlantic & Netflix

 

As mentioned, by @PandJ2020  if SKY advisers told you otherwise they are wrong & may have misled you.

Unfortunately multiple online sources (including AI search results) get 'Sky Television Essentials' on Sky Q confused with 'Sky Essential TV' in Glass & Stream.
